The Titusville Redevelopment Authority acquired the former
"Armco Steel Property" known as the "Cytemp Division"
consisting of 206 acres, including approximately 670,000 square
feet of industrial buildings. Industrial by-products of environmental
concern on this "Brownfield Site" have been remediated under the
guidance of the PA Department of Environmental Protection and
have been granted "Special Industrial Area" and "Site Specific"
relief from liability to the current and future owners and tenants.
An extensive rehabilitation program has been ongoing throughout
the complex, through the assistance of State, Federal and Local
investment.

The Mercantile
Enhance Titusville has begun its downtown plan with the creation of a Retail Incubator. The incubator is located in the old Thompson's Drug Store Building and is complete!
It is called The Mercantile, The Merc for short.
The Merc has a miniature street complete with shops (retail incubators) on each side of the "road", a restaurant, a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor, and four individual retail stores,
all inside of the building!
